GINGER RECIPES

Whiskey:

 

 Ginger Old Fashioned

1 ¼ oz Bourbon

¾ oz broVo  Ginger

Dash of bitters

1 ½ oz soda water

Muddle lemon wedge, lime wedge and sugar cube with a dash of bitters. Add Liquor and ice. Fill with soda water and garnish with lime twist.

 

Miller’s Crossing

1 ½ oz whiskey

½ oz broVo Ginger

6 sprigs of mint & ½ fresh squeezed lemon

2-3 dashes of bitters

Soda, 7 up mix

Muddle fresh mint and lemon juice in 12 oz glass. Add remaining ingredients. Shake with ice and serve.

 

Ginger-Heimer

1 ¼ oz Rye

1 ¼ oz broVo Ginger

8 oz hot water

 

Seattle Sidecar

1 oz rye

1 oz brandy

½ oz broVo  Ginger

½ oz fresh lemon

½ oz triple sec

Shake and serve up with thin lemon wheel

 

The Honey Badger

1 ½ oz bourbon

1 oz broVo Ginger

Freshly muddled honey and lemons

Pear nectar

Shake over ice and serve up.

 

Washington Julep

1 oz Bourbon

1 oz broVo Ginger

4 sprigs of mint

1 lime wedge

Dash of simple syrup

Shake over ice and serve in a rocks glass.

½ oz simple syrup

2 orange slices & 2 maraschino cherries

Splash of soda water

Muddle oranges and cherries. Add ice, liquor and shake well. Strain over ice in a bucket glass. Add splash of soda water & maraschino cherry.

 

Ginger Manhattan

2 oz Rye

1 oz broVo Ginger

Splash of Maraschino cherry juice

Garnish with a cherry

 

Ginger Bell

Pre-heat Irish Coffee Glass

Then add:

1 oz Bourbon

½ oz broVo Ginger

1 oz Half & Half Cream

¼ oz Maple Syrup

Fill with hot water

 

Bourbon Ginger Slinger

1 ½ oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon

¾ oz broVo  Ginger

1 oz lemon juice

1 oz grapefruit juice

Combine in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice in a bucket glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a piece of candied ginger.

½ oz broVo Ginger

1 oz Midnight Moon Apple Pie Moonshine

1 Numi Rooibus Chai tea bag

1 oz Martinelli’s Apple Juice

Fill with hot water

1 cinnamon stick

Served in clear coffee mug

 

Jimmy Ginger

1 ½ oz Bourbon

½ oz broVo Ginger

2 oz Sierra Mist

½ oz Pepsi

Muddle with three limes. Serve on the rocks.

¾ oz broVo Ginger

½ oz lemon juice

1 oz Pear Vodka

Splash of bar lime

Splash of heavy cream

Shake with ice and strain. Serve in a chilled martini glass.

 

Gingerbread Martini

1 oz Vanilla Vodka

1 oz broVo Ginger

1 oz Brendan’s Irish Cream

Shake and pour into a chilled martini glass, top with vanilla infused whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

 

Ginger Geisha

1 oz citron vodka

1 oz broVo Ginger

½ oz lemon juice

½ oz ginger simple syrup

1 oz fresh grapefruit juice

 

Bloody Valentine

1 ½ oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka

1 oz broVo Ginger

½ oz Dewars Scotch

6 oz tomato juice

1 tsp each – celery salt, wasabi paste, and Worcestershire sauce

Shake with ice and serve

Garnish with lemon, lime, green olive and pickled ginger

 

Ginger Tea

Muddled Lime

1 ½ oz Wild Tea Vodka

1 oz broVo Ginger

Splash of St Germain

 

Ginger Peach Martini

1 oz broVo Ginger

½ oz peach schnapps

½ oz triple sec

¾ vodka

Muddle 1-2 lime wedges with ice in shaker, add ingredients, shake and strain into a martini glass.

 

Ginger Orange Crush

1 oz mandarin orange vodka

¾ oz broVo  Ginger

Drizzle of simple syrup

Muddle with orange slice

Strain into a martini glass

Top with a splash of orange juice and garnish with an orange slice.

 

Ginger Appletini

¾ oz citrus vodka

¾ oz broVo Ginger

¼ oz lemon juice

½ oz simple syrup

¾ oz Apple Pucker

Shake with ice and strain. Serve in a martini glass.

1 ½ oz Pear Vodka

½ oz broVo Ginger

Splash of St Germaine

Top with soda

Serve on the rocks with a lemon

 

Billy’s Ginger Berry Patio Cooler

1 oz raspberry vodka

¾ oz broVo Ginger

Drizzle of simple syrup

Muddle with lemon and orange slices and ice.

Pour into a pint glass and top with lemon lime soda. Garnish with a lemon slice.

 

Ginger Lemon Drop

1 ½ oz broVo Ginger

1 oz Blueberry Vodka

1 oz Citrus Vodka

1 oz Vanilla Vodka

2 oz fresh lemon juice

1 tsp fresh ground ginger

1 tsp blueberry puree

Shake ingredients with ice & strain into a sugar rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a slice of ginger & a skewer of blueberries.

 

Candied Ginger Apple

8 oz hot apple cider

½ oz broVo Ginger

1 ½ oz Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey

½ oz vanilla vodka

Pour hot cider and all liquor into a sugar rimmed mug and top with a twist of lemon or apple peel.

 

Ginger Pear Mojito

1 oz pear vodka

¾ oz broVo Ginger

¼ oz peach schnapps

½ oz simple syrup

1 oz soda water

2 cucumber slices, 1 lime wedge

8 mint leaves

Muddle all ingredients together. Serve over ice.

 

Ginger Chocolate Martini

3 oz Vodka

½ oz broVo Ginger

1 oz Chocolate Sauce

Serve in a chocolate drizzled glass with candied ginger.

 

 

Rum:

 

Ginger Truth

1 ½ oz white rum

¾ oz broVo Ginger

¾ oz Falernum

¼ oz St Elizabeth Allspice Dram

Dash Angostura Bitters

 

Ginger Flip

1 ½ oz Bacardi Rum

½ oz broVo Ginger

1 oz house made fruit cocktail puree

Top with ginger egg foam. Serve in a martini glass.

 

Ginger Mint Mojito

1 oz Bacardi Rum

1 oz broVo Ginger

3 sprigs fresh mint

1 oz simple syrup

1 lime, quartered

1 cup ice

Crush mint, ice, simple syrup, and lime. Build Collins glass with crushed mint mixture, rum and broVo Ginger. Float soda water and a lime.

 

Rum and Ginger Smash

3 oz spiced rum

1 ½ oz broVo Ginger

Shake over ice and strain into chocolate rimmed martini glass

 

Ginger in the Mango

¾ oz lemon rum

1 oz broVo +G Ginger

½ oz lime juice

¼ oz simple syrup

½ mango puree

Soda water

 

 

Gin:

1 oz Oola Gin

1 oz broVo Ginger

¼ oz Amaro Montenegro

½ oz lemon juice

Shake with ice and strain

Top with sparkling elderflower water

 

Ginger G&T

1 oz Barrel Aged Big Gin

1 oz broVo Ginger

1 oz house tonic

 

Have Love, Will Travel

1 ½ oz Ransom Old Tom Gin

1 oz broVo Ginger

Dash Creole Bitters

Shake with ice and strain. Serve on the rocks.

 

Ginger Berry

1 ½ oz Voyageur Gin

½ oz broVo  Ginger

Top with ginger beer

Chambord float

Shake with ice and strain

Garnish with raspberry spear

Summer Blossom

4 oz Prosecco

¾ oz St Germain

¾ oz Ginger

Serve in a flute glass with a lemon twist.

 

 

Tequila:

 

Rosemary’s Baby

1 ¼ oz silver tequila

¼ oz Rosemary Tincture

½ oz broVo Ginger

½ oz lemon juice

¼ oz simple syrup

 

Other:

Sweet Ginger Kiss

1 ½ oz Amaretto

1 ½ oz broVo Ginger

½ oz orange blossom honey

Top with soda

 

Icebreaker

2 oz broVo Ginger

¾ oz Amaretto

1 Tbsp Passion fruit puree

Splash of 7-Up

Shake and strain, garnish with a mint leaf

 

Winter Sangria

Suggest serving in a mason jar

Fill with ice

2/3 sangria

1/3 soda

Garnish with spirited cherries from sangria batch.

Recipe:

1 cup broVo Ginger

2 cups Veev Acai Spirit

3 bottles Malbec

½ cup honey

1 fresh orange-circle sliced

1 cup dried peaches cut in strips

1 cup dried bing cherries

½ cup dried candied ginger strips

3 cinnamon strips

3 star anise

Store refrigerated for 48 hours, then put through strainer. Save spirited cherries for garnish.
