Myles designed an amaro that is more traditional, rounder, and citrus-based.
Beginning with a two-stage citrus flavoring of grapefruit and orange, it next flows into rose hips and juniper, then finishes with cinnamon and peppercorn. It gets sweetened with a made-from-scratch caramel syrup. There is also a two-stage bittering flavor, with Gentian root and cinchona teaming up to provide the bitter notes.
Myles’ amaro is best enjoyed mixed into a cocktail with whiskey, brandy or rum.
