Suzanne Miller, bartender at Novella, built us an amaro that has a little Indian zest. It starts with Indian cinnamon sticks, clove, and orange zest before finishing with an anise note. A handmade toasted coriander simple syrup brings the spice mix together.
It’s a subtle anise liqueur. We know, it’s really unusual to use the words “subtle” and “anise” together.
