Greg Miesch built his recipe and incorporated specific ingredients that pay homage to his parents and grandparents, the ones responsible for his being in the kitchen in the first place.
It begins with roasted Guatemalan cacao nibs, lavender, and peppermint. The mid-palate is a combination of orange and lemon citrus flavors that then leads to a three-layer spice finish: pink peppercorn, urfa biber pepper, and Grains of paradise. It is lightly sweetened with agave nectar.
Greg’s amaro is complex and perfect for sipping over ice.
