ROSE GERANIUM

broVo’s Rose Geranium is a mixture of the rose and rose geranium plants.

The rose geranium is grown on the banks of the Columbia River in eastern Washington. It’s a delicate and very floral plant so when we make it, we work hard to balance the sweetness with the flavor and liquor. Our process finishes with a light sweetening of agave nectar to about 10% sugar and final proof with water.

Rose Geranium mixes well with tequila, gin, and bubbles.

Tequila:

 

Rodeo Rose

1 ½ oz Reposado Tequila

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¾ oz maraschino liqueur

½ oz lime juice

Pinch of salt

3 dashes bitters

Shake with ice and strain. Garnish with orange twist.

 

Rosarita

1 ½ oz silver tequila

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz simple syrup

Lemon juice

Shake with ice and strain

1 ½ oz ghost chile infused tequila

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¾ oz lemon juice

½ oz honey

 

Agave Rose

1 ½ oz Tequila

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz lemon juice

½ oz honey syrup

4 dashes Scrappy’s grapefruit bitters

Pinch of Sea Salt

 

La Amarillo Rose

1 ½ oz blanco tequila

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Clear Creek Pear Brandy

2 dashes Scrappy’s Lime Bitters

 

Blossom

2 oz Silver Tequila

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

¾ oz fresh lime juice

½ oz simple syrup

Shake with ice and strain into a salted rim martini glass. Garnish with a lime

 

Bouquet Margarita

1 oz Reposado Tequila

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Orchid Lychee Liquor

2 oz fresh margarita mix

Splash of pineapple juice

Splash of soda water

 

Don Flamenco

1 oz Aha Toro Resposado Tequila

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Grand Marnier

¾ oz fresh grapefruit juice

¼ oz fresh lime juice

2 dashes grapefruit bitters

Shake well and strain into a coupe with a salted rim.

 

All’s Well That Ends Well

1 ½ oz Herencia Blanco

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Yellow Chartreuse

½ oz Lillet Blanc

2 dashes Sun Liquor Orange Bitters

In a pint glass add Herencia, Rose Geranium, yellow Chartreuse, Lillet and orange bitters. Stir with ice. Pour into a chilled Absinthe rinsed glass.

1 oz Silver Tequila

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

2 oz Tangerine juice

Build chimney glass

 

The Speesy Horse

1 ½ oz Blanco Tequila

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Cointreau

Shake and strain into a coupe, top with cava.

3/8 oz Cocci Americano

3/8 oz Licor 43

3/8 oz fresh cranberry juice

3/8 oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Elysian Jasmine IPA

1 oz Gin

2 Dashes woodworm bitters

 

Rosie Grey Cocktail

1 ½ oz Big Gin

1 ½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz simple syrup

¾ oz fresh lemon juice

3 dashes of Earl Grey Tea Tincture

Stir all ingredients together. Pour over fresh, big ice cubes or big frozen grapes in a Collins glass. Garnish with an orange slice.

 

The Jimmy’s Fizz

1 ¼ Dry Fly Gin

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz cream

¼ oz simple syrup

¼ oz fresh lemon juice

¼ oz fresh lime juice

Splash of soda

One egg white

Shake well with ice and strain into Collins glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

 

The Frenchie

2 oz Voyageur Gin

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

1 oz pink grapefruit juice

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain. Serve in a martini glass and garnish with lime

 

Pas De Deux

1 ½ oz Schisandra Berry infused Gin

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz fresh lemon juice

¾ oz rich simple syrup (1.5x sugar/ 1 water)

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain.

 

Cardamom Rose Martini

1 ½ oz Big Gin

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¼ oz simple syrup

¾ oz grapefruit juice

2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters

1 cardamom pod

1 lemon wedge

Crush and lightly muddle cardamom pod to extract the oil. Muddle lemon wedge and add other ingredients with ice. Shake and double strain into a martini glass. Add a splash of soda water.

 

Pre-Nup

1 ½ oz gin

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¼ oz Grenadine

¾ oz lemon juice

1 egg white

Dry shake to emulsify the egg white. Add ice, shake and double strain into a coupe.

 

Rose Colored Glasses

1 ¼ oz Big Gin

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

¾ oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

1 slice orange

2 maraschino cherries

Shake with ice and strain

1 ½ oz Hendricks Gin

½ oz Cointreau

Shake with ice and strain. Garnish with orange peel.

1 whole strawberry

Muddle Strawberry in a shaker with simple syrup. Add gin and +RG. Shake with ice and strain into a classic champagne glass. Garnish with a balsamic infused strawberry.

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¼ oz blood orange puree

2 lemon wedges

Muddle Lemon with ice. Add other ingredients. Shake, strain and serve with a lemon twist.

1 oz Chocolate Vodka

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Clear Creek Cherry Liqueur

½ oz white chocolate cream

½ oz cream

Dry shake (no ice) to allow white chocolate to mix with other ingredients. Add ice, shake and strain. Garnish with shaved chocolate.

 

Summer Love

1oz Cucumber Vodka

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

Muddle three lime wedges and mint leaves

Top with soda water and a splash of cranberry juice. Shake with ice and strain.

 

Kubota Gardens

1 ½ oz cucumber infused vodka

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¾ oz Turbinado sugar simple syrup

2 orange slices, muddled

2 sprigs ripped mint

Shake with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into large rocks glass. Garnish with edible flower.

 

Moonlight and Roses

1 ½ oz Vodka

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

1 oz Pama Liqueur

½ oz pomegranate simple syrup

1 oz sour mix

Squeeze of lime

Shake over ice and serve up

 

Mexican Rose

1 ½ oz Dry Fly Vodka

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

Juice of ½ Lemon

Squeeze of jalapeño infused simple syrup

2 sprigs of cilantro (not muddled just in the shaker to mix)

Strain all ingredients well and serve up. Garnish with a lemon twist.

1 ½ oz broVo Ginger

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

Dash of orange bitters

Shake with ice and strain.

1 ¼ oz Effen Vodka

Less than a bar spoon of grenadine

1 oz Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

¼ oz Grenadine

2 oz fresh squeezed lemonade

Shake and strain into a martini glass. Top with 2 oz. prosecco

 

Raspberry Rose

1 ¾ oz raspberry vodka

½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

Cranberry juice

Splash of sour

Muddle with limes and serve

1 ½ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Zirbenz

½ oz grapefruit juice

½ oz simple syrup

Shake over ice, strain and finish with bubbles.

 

Venus

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

2 tsp Campari

1 tsp Rothman & Winter Crème de Violette

Prosecco

Combine all and top with prosecco

 

La Petit Rouge

1 part broVo Rose Geranium

1 part soda water

1 ½ part brut champagne

1 drop blood orange bitters

Pour in sequence into tall chimney glass. Garnish with rose petal.

 

Rose Blossom

1 oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz St Germaine

½ Aperol

Shake, strain and top with 2 oz of Prosecco. Serve in a martini glass

 

La Vie En Rose

2 oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz lemon juice

Agave nectar

Aperol and sparkling wine

Shake broVo, lemon juice and a bar spoon of agave nectar. Strain into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine and slowly pour aperol down the inside of the glass so it rests on the bottom. Garnish with a lemon peel or edible flower.

For the simple syrup – simmer 6 strawberries with ¼ cup sugar and 2 cups water until all of the color is drawn out of the berries.

Apx. 4 oz sparkling wine

Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled champagne tulip glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with an edible flower floating in the drink and a mist of rose water on top.

1 ½ oz Cruzan Coconut Rum

¾ oz broVo Rose Geranium

½ oz Schonauer Apple Liqueur

½ oz lemon juice

1 egg white

Shake and strain

Build in a tall Collins glass, giving a gentle stir before adding the rose geranium. Garnish with an edible orchid.
